So Steam is having another one of their sale-sprees. Obviously this time it’s for christmas.

Luckily I just got my holiday pay because I’ve been all over those sales.

So far I’ve bought Crysis, Lost Planet 2, The Polynomial, Star wars KOTOR and The Force Unleashed, and Splinter Cell conviction.

Crysis is an old favourite of mine, I always find myself playing it again every now and then, it’s just so well made.

Lost Planet 2 seems alright from what I’ve played, but the fucking Windows Live bullshit is really pissing me off. Also it’s built for multiplayer, and none of my friends have it, so I don’t think I’ll really get a whole lot out of it…

The Polynomial is one of those cool little colourful indie games based on music, which I always enjoy.

Knights Of The Old Republic I’ve always heard is pretty good, and I’m a massive Star Wars fan, so I suppose I should give it a go. Especially at $3.30 nzd. What a deeeal.

The Force Unleashed is definitely my favourite of all the games, man it’s fucking cool. It really does remind me of the older Jedi Knight games, Outcast and Academy. And slamming enemies against walls with the force is extremely satisfying.

Lastly, Splinter Cell Conviction seems to be a direct port from a console version, probably the 360. It’s pixely and ugly, much like Double Agent, except worse somehow. Although I bet the gameplay will be fucking amazing, as with all the other Splinter Cells, so I’m looking forward to playing it more.

And I’ll probably end up buying more games even, before the sale ends on sunday..
